Goal: Help students that may be falling behind their peers first get back on track and then teach them how to excel. Equip students with life skills like crafting an impressive resume and essay-writing, whether it be for a class or college application.
- lesson plans vary based on students' needs
ex: for a student who needs help with essay writing, I will proofread an essay the student has previously written/done for homework, then teach them a certain technique or skill I feel they are lacking/need to improve on, and then help them put it into practice in a short paragraph. Then I will assign another piece of writing for homework, focusing on that same skill, but independently this time.
- lessons are for middle to high school students, or even adults who feel they are at a middle to high school level of writing.
- I am an English Literature student at University of Washington. I aced AP Literature and also student tutored for an AP English Language class. I keep a writing blog and have been teaching essay writing to preteens/teenagers for 3 years now.
