I have just finished my A-Levels in English Literature, French and History with predicted grades of A*A*A. I have applied to read English Literature as an undergrad at University. I received 9’s in English Literature & Language, R.S, French, History, Drama and English As A Second Language at GCSE’s.

My teaching method is very hands on, to ensure maximum retention of knowledge and skills. This involves getting students comfortable with close readings of texts and poetry. One of the most important things to ensure success in English Literature is also debating on themes and topics that arise in different texts with wider socio-politics conversations. This builds not only critical thinking skills but also ensures that students are actively engaging with the material. This will all lead to writing high-level essays which I will also assist in by giving examples of different structural techniques that all students can access.
