My approach to tutoring is to focus on helping the student understand the material, rather than simply drilling facts. I believe that teaching students how to think critically and apply the material to real-world problems is the key to developing a deeper understanding. My teaching methodology is to use a variety of techniques, including lecture, discussion, problem solving, practice, and review. I also emphasize the importance of self-study, encouraging students to review the material from class and practice on their own.
My typical lesson length is two hours, which allows me to cover a lot of material without feeling rushed. I also tailor my lesson plans to the student's specific needs, allowing for more or less time depending on their individual needs and level of understanding.
