About Sahel
I am a TESOL/TEFL Certificate holder and have experience in tutoring and teaching English to both native speakers and new learners. I have an undergraduate B.A. Honours degree in Psychology with minor focuses on History and English from the University of Guelph in Ontario. My experience includes tutoring students of all ages, volunteering in labs and community centres, and being a Peer at the Peer Helper Program at the University of Guelph, where I tutored international students of all ethnicities for two years! Teaching and learning are my passions and I'm looking forward to working with you towards a future full of accomplishments.

My methods in teaching include starting first with a brief meeting to discuss the weaknesses, strengths, and objectives you possess regarding your goals. We will set a lesson plan objective together, which I will break down based on your needed areas of improvement over the period of time you choose to learn with me. During a typical day, our lesson focus would be on relevant anecdotal and realia materials to connect real-world applications to your learning process. As an interactive effort towards a confident self-vision for you, we will be continuously working together to ensure your goals are met and improvement is visible.
