I want to teach because I enjoy helping others grow in confidence and reach their goals. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Macquarie University, where I learn about speech production, phonetics, language development, and communication. Through my studies, I have developed a strong understanding of English pronunciation, the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), speech sounds, and how language is acquired and used in everyday life.
I offer beginner-friendly ESL lessons tailored to each student's goals, whether that's improving conversational English, building confidence, expanding vocabulary, or developing clearer pronunciation. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and encouraging, creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident to make mistakes and learn.
As someone with experience working in diverse environments and supporting people from different backgrounds, I understand that learning a new language can be challenging. I aim to make lessons practical, engaging, and focused on real-life communication skills.
