About Chitra
I am a qualified and passionate English teacher with a strong academic background in education and the humanities. I hold an M.Ed., B.Ed., M.A., and B.A. in English, Hindi and Economics. I am patient, approachable and committed to helping school students build strong English skills, confidence and a genuine interest in reading and literature. I believe every child can learn well with the right guidance, encouragement and individual attention.

My teaching approach is based on clarity, patience, and conceptual understanding. I believe children learn English best when they understand the language rather than simply memorize rules.
Teaching Methods: I explain concepts in simple language, use examples from everyday life and encourage students to participate, ask questions and practice what they learn.
Class Structure: Each class generally begins with a quick revision, followed by introduction of the new topic, detailed explanation with examples, guided practice, and exercises or discussion to reinforce learning.
My Special Features: I adapt lessons according to each child's learning level and pace. I focus on building strong foundations in grammar, reading and comprehension while also developing vocabulary, confidence, communication skills and critical thinking.
Literature & Classics: For literature, I help students understand the meaning, themes, characters, literary devices and context instead of relying only on textbook answers.
Who My Classes Are For: My classes are primarily intended for school children who want to improve their English, strengthen their academic performance, build confidence, or develop a deeper interest in English literature and classics.
