About Marie Toni
I am Marie Toni Moting-Delfin, a teacher, a mother and a wife. I have been teaching English for years to foreign students from all walks of life. I have taught students from different countries and diverse backgrounds. Teaching English has always been my passion being an English major graduate. I do not just impart knowledge to my students rather leave them something that would mold them to be the best that they can be in all aspects of their lives if possible so that they would excel and become competitive. My teaching method and techniques include student-centered learning and interactive lessons to keep the student engage throughout the class. I see to it as well that the student gets the most out of our lessons so that nothing would be wasted. As for my typical lesson plan, it outlines learning objectives, necessary materials, step-by-step procedures, and methods for assessing student understanding. As for what sets me apart as a tutor, I am patient and kind and approachable. I believe that with these qualities, I can be of help to my student's needs academically and can even touch their lives and not just gain knowledge from me.
