About Kat

I am a teacher of English at a high school based in Manchester. I have a degree in English language and linguistics. I have also been tutoring privately for the past 2 years, helping students prepare for their GCSE exams.

About the lesson

Focusing primarily on the skills that students want to work on and basing my lessons on that. All lessons start with a recap on the previous session and then working through the skills you want/need to improve on through a variety of different activities. If we are focusing on GCSE, I will often provide model answers or mark essays you provide so we can go through how to improve your mark together.
