I am an effective instructor and adept administrator with 30 years of experience, including all levels: elementary, secondary, and college. Other areas of strength include being a gifted writer and public speaker. Previous teaching has included classroom settings, small groups, and individual tutoring. With a Master of Education degree, including 21 graduate hours of psychology/counseling, behind my teaching experience, my approach to instruction is based on finding the most effective and appropriate learning method for each student. This requires research and analysis, but the resulting successes are absolutely worth the additional effort involved. I also strive to make learning fun--exploring and learning new things about our world should be an enjoyable activity.
