About Nancy
Hello! I have been serving in the Air Force for 23 years, and I have lived all over the country. I love to write, and I have honed my skills with a bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degree in English--that's a lot of reading and writing!
I have also taught students both in the military and civilian college environments for 15 years, and I love to help writers of various levels reach their next goal.
I know that for some students writing can be intimidating, and I aim to break down the creative process as you need it to help you communicate your knowledge.

- I help students meet their goals by breaking down the components of a project and coming up with a concrete plan to complete the steps
- A typical tutoring session will consist of discussion regarding goals, identification of area(s) to work, and hands on guidance to brainstorm, plan, write, revise, and/or edit the student's work
- With my specialized background in Rhetoric and Theory and Teaching of Writing, I am uniquely qualified to assist students with personal and research essays, as well as critical analysis and communication of ideas through writing
- Lessons will be specified to the student's writing level, with development towards their overall writing goals
