Not boring, but engaging help. I look over what the student needs to know and then I form a lesson/discussion about it. I use flash cards and active recall to help with long term memory and understanding. I love to start off reading a short book- me or the child, it’s their choice. Then we will talk about what they are learning in school or their reading goals.

My granddaughter talks non-stop about their sessions. I met her through facebook and it turns out we only lived a couple blocks over!
Amelia is my daughter and she has always drawn children in with her fun, whimsical personality. She has a special way of connecting with them. She is observant, responsible and has experience working with and caring for children.
