About Salim

English is my mother tongue. I lived in India for the first 6 years of my life. But no worry! I don't speak the typical Indian English or the like;) 2 years homework support at the Kepler Gymnasium Ulm 2 years tutor for lower and middle school 3-month exchange with Trinity College Dublin during Bachelor Completed Bachelor of Education in English at Heidelberg University Currently: Master of Education English and Sport

About the lesson

"In school, the principle of" first learn, then use! "Still applies. But you learn a language by using it. ” ~ Otto Jespersen I want to teach you this philosophy! You probably hardly speak English in your everyday life. I want to support you as much as possible. I like to use the free hour to: - get to know you - assess your abilities - set goals and topics - clarify organizational matters. I always want to speak English to you (if possible) and practice vocabulary / grammar / listening and reading comprehension every week. All of this will take place interactively. However, you cannot avoid writing in a language. Therefore I will also ask you to write handwritten texts and send them to me. I then correct them and we discuss them together. As an addition, I also like to include English videos, for example from the British Council or BBC. I also find books an exciting medium. If you are not reading a book in class, maybe I will read a book with you so that we can train your vocabulary and reading comprehension.

Ich mochte besonders seine englischen Videos, die waren immer interessant.

Ich habe Salim über Superprof gefunden.

Salim ist sehr offen und fröhlich. Er hat viel Geduld mit mir gezeigt.

Besonders gut hat mir gefallen, dass er immer interessante englische Videos miteinbezogen hat, um den Stoff zu vertiefen.
