About Nomathemba
My name is Noma, I'm currently based in South Africa.
For me, teaching is not about the subject. It's about watching someone go from 'I can't do this' to 'I can do this myself.' Once they believe that, they don't just pass my
subject, they start believing they can do other hard things too.
I love teaching because I remember what it feels like to NOT understand. I had a teacher who didn't give up on me, and it changed everything. Now I want to be that person for you. When you win, I feel like I win too.
I'll turn it into a 30-second answer that no principal will forget.

Welcome to my class
"I may not be the best teacher for everyone, but I'm the best teacher for students who hate memorising and want to understand logic / are scared of English but need to pass. My job is not to finish the lesson, my job is to make you independent so you don't need me anymore. I will give you my notes, my shortcuts, and I will check on you even outside class if you're stuck.
Remember Confidence + no pressure = trust
