About Rahayma
Hello! I’m Rahayma, a First-Class Politics graduate from City, University of London with experience teaching English at both GCSE and A level. Having been an English student myself, I understand how overwhelming and stressful revision can feel, which is why I focus on making lessons clear, structured and confidence-building.
I support students in strengthening essay writing, developing critical reading skills and mastering exam techniques. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged, motivated and able to reach their potential.

My lessons are designed for GCSE and A level English students. I know from experience how challenging English exams can feel, especially when it comes to essay writing and analysing complex texts. That is why I focus on building skills step by step, making the subject more manageable and less stressful.
Each session lasts one hour and is tailored to your needs. We will work on understanding texts in depth, improving essay structure and writing style, and practising exam questions to strengthen technique.
My approach is supportive and interactive. I aim to help students feel more confident, prepared and capable of expressing their ideas clearly in both exams and classwork.

Perfect! Rahayma is a very kind and patient teacher and explains all the different techniques and helps me broaden my analysis to make my essays better. She is always very organised in the lessons, with PowerPoints and different structures to help me gain the best possible grade. :)
