About Tina
I am confident in writing, and got a 5 on the AP Lang exam and won the Clark International Memorial Award for the Joes International Overseas Literacy Contest out of more than 12,000 entries. I speak fluent Japanese and help students of all ages! I attended and recently graduated from a Japanese School in San Jose for 13 years. I also teach English to students in Japan online, and always put students' needs first. I have a flexible schedule, and will work with students to find ways to fit their needs.

I have been tutoring for a nonprofit organization called Bay2Bay for three years, and personalize lesson plans for students using the California Academic Standards to meet each student's needs, create quizzes and progress checks, and try to make lessons fun.
