About Shana
I am an MA English graduate and a lecturer, but more importantly, I am someone who truly understands how difficult learning can feel at times.
I have met many students who were intelligent and capable, yet afraid to speak, afraid to ask questions, or afraid of making mistakes. I believe learning should never feel like that. My classroom is a safe space where confusion is allowed and questions are always welcome.
I teach slowly, patiently, and with care. I explain concepts in simple, everyday language, using examples students can relate to. I don’t rush through lessons or focus only on finishing portions — I focus on making sure the student actually understands.
I never judge students by their marks. Progress, confidence, and clarity matter more to me than perfection. Whether you are struggling with English grammar, literature, writing, or spoken English, I adjust my teaching to suit your level and comfort.
If you are someone who wants to learn but feels lost, anxious, or unsure — you are not alone. I will walk with you step by step, until learning feels easier and lighter.

My job is not to judge you, but to explain until it makes sense to you. You don’t have to be perfect in my class.
