My name is Elizabeth and I am looking forward to being your tutor!
I have a deeply entrenched passion for literature and hope to share this with you. In my spare time, I mostly read - but I also enjoy drawing, visiting museums and spending time with family.

My qualifications to teach English include: 9 (A**) at GCSE, A* at a-level and I am currently studying English Literature at UCL.
When teaching, I primarily use facilitated active recall techniques in order for students to retain information they learn both inside and outside of our lessons. I also strongly encourage guided discussion so as to promote varied analysis of texts.
Having worked with young children for nearly a year, I am very capable in teaching a wide variety of ages as well capabilities. I believe it is equally as important to ensure that my lessons are a fun activity for my students while also being productive and informative.
I have previously tutored privately and sanctioned, from ages 3 up to 16, meaning I am comfortable tutoring any age, capability and level. My lessons tend to be an hour.
