About Caldon
I have a BA in Health Sciences and work in healthcare education. I have experience supporting university-level writing, cover letters, professional communication, and English as an additional language. In sessions with me, we will look at what makes a written piece easy to read and interesting and will work together to accomplish the author's goals.

My lessons focus on structure and clarity, ensuring that central ideas are well-supported and easy to follow. I make a point of facilitating the learning process to give students a solid foundation for writing, making them better, more confident communicators, whatever they are working on.
A typical lesson involves discussing and determining a thesis, if applicable, or the focal point of the work and building an outline with supporting concepts, ideas, and/or evidence. Once the written piece is underway, we will edit it together for clarity, to reduce repetition, and to ensure good flow.
My lessons are best suited to high school and undergraduate students who are either still studying and writing essays or looking for work and applying for jobs.
