About Kate
I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, and always have a lot of fun teaching my students. I will never be that boring and strict tutor that makes you dread our session every week. I think we've all experienced that and I never wanted to be that teacher! So here I am, ready to make learning a new language fun!! I tutor English, French and German, as I speak all 3 languages fluently. I grew up in Alberta, Montreal, and Toronto and lived in Germany for 7 years. I look forward to meeting you! Hello! My name is Kate and I am German/Canadian. I was born in Bremen, Germany and lived in Canada for 18 years. I grew up speaking German and English, and I lived in Germany for 7 years, just returning back to Alberta in 2022. I have over 10 years of experience as a private tutor. I tutor English, French and German, as I am fluent in all 3 languages.
My teaching methods are very unique to each student, based on their individual learning needs/skills. Some learn well visually, others by speaking, writing, whatever works best for you, I will always work with you.
I decided to become the tutor I wish I had when I was younger.
