About GURPREET
I provide clear, organized, and well-prepared English lessons for Year 4 and Year 6 students. All teaching material is fully planned and aligned to the Victorian Curriculum, giving students structure, clarity, and confidence. I am patient, reliable, and committed to helping each child learn at their own pace. Families value my communication, preparation, and the supportive environment I create in every lesson.
Although I am not a full-time teacher, I have tutored students individually and in small groups over the years. My background in law, academic writing, and curriculum-based education support has shaped my teaching style: methodical, calm, and focused on clear explanations. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths and challenges so I can adjust my approach to suit their needs.

My tutoring approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I prepare all teaching material in advance, and every lesson follows a clear sequence: explanation, guided practice, independent practice, and feedback. I break down concepts into simple, manageable steps and use examples, repetition, and scaffolded worksheets to help students build confidence and mastery over time.
A typical lesson runs for one hour, which includes teaching new content, practising skills, reviewing homework, and checking understanding. My lessons are organised and curriculum‑aligned, with weekly worksheets and homework tasks that reinforce what we cover in class.
My lessons are designed for Year 4 and Year 6 students who need structured support in English, including grammar, morphology, comprehension, vocabulary, and writing skills. I work with students who want to improve their confidence, strengthen foundational skills, or receive additional guidance outside school.
My goal is to help students feel capable, supported, and genuinely prepared for success in English.
