About Ally
I am an upper-year student at Queen's university enrolled for an English medial. I am proficient in essay writing and analyzing most texts and have been helping others with this for a few years. I am also enrolled in Concurrent Education and have some experience teaching some parts of English as listed above.

I like to teach by speaking to students over a video call of some sort so that I may work things over with them and ensure they understand my suggestions in their essays and/or what they have asked me to teach. I am very flexible on what the lesson plan can look like, depending on each students' needs, and would like to tutor English to students in grades 9-12, though I can also help students in grades 7 and 8 as well. My flexibility with lesson plans and my one on one connection with students allows me to ensure the students' understandings and help them to learn their common mistakes when analyzing text, writing essays, etc.

Details
I request that cancellation of a lesson happen a minimum of 2 hours before the lesson is supposed to commence. If a lesson is cancelled with less than an hour's notice, I will charge for an hour.
