About Marie
I bring a strong combination of academic and professional experience to my teaching. I have over ten years of experience as a researcher in both academic and business environments, along with five years of experience supporting students in English, writing, and university preparation.
My work as a researcher has involved analyzing complex topics, producing clear written reports, and helping others develop their own research and communication skills. This experience allows me to support students not only with language, but also with clarity of thought, structure, and effective written expression.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Spanish, as well as a master’s degree in the social sciences. I am committed to providing structured, thoughtful lessons and clear, actionable feedback to help each student make meaningful progress.

From there, we work on key areas including structure, argumentation, tone, and vocabulary. Sessions are highly practical, combining targeted feedback, guided revisions, and strategies you can apply independently.
What sets me apart is my background as a researcher and writer with experience in both academic and professional environments. I support students in structuring ideas, refining arguments, and producing polished, high-quality writing, rather than focusing on surface-level corrections alone.
My lessons are best suited for university and graduate students, as well as professionals who want to produce strong, effective written work. I specialize in resumes, cover letters, academic essays, research papers, theses, and dissertations, and work with students who are motivated to improve and achieve concrete results.
