About Brandon
I have A* at both GCSE and A-Level in computing and have just finished my first year studying Computing at Imperial College London achieveing a 95% mark for programming. I have also completed several internships and placements at a variety of companies and have completed many projects of my own, hence I have experience both in industry and at home.

My teaching methodology for programming in particular depends greatly on the experience of the individual but is almost always hands on with code. If the individual is new to programming, then my approach is to teach fundamental concepts such as planning, thinking logically and problem decomposition, followed by applying this new knowledge to a variety of exercises which would then be used to demonstrate how a range of real world problems can be solved with code. For more advanced programmers, I take more of a back seat whilst they complete exercises, offering advice on how to solve difficult problems if necessary but also reviewing the code for style and efficiency. The bank of exercises I use range from exercises I have come across in day to day programming, those from various sources around the web and some of the top job interview technical questions.
