About Emily
I have tutored 3 students (Year 6 SATs, Year 7 and year 11 GCSE) and have been tutoring for 2 years. Year 6 student passed their SATs comfortably, year 7 pupil got moved into the top set and the year 11 student has moved up a whole grade in current mock papers. I have also delivered Mathematics taster sessions at Nottingham Trent University to prospective students.

I start with topics that are not too tough to ease the student into my sessions and gauge what their strengths and weaknesses are as well as their learning style. Thus, the sessions will be tailored to suit each individual. I use whiteboards, CGP books, diagrams, videos, past papers and posters dependent upon if the student is a kinesthetic, visual, auditory or reading/ writing learner. I am patient and respectful of all types of learners and abilities where I encourage every pupil to achieve their best by improving their confidence and making sessions as fun and engaging as possible.
