About Ralph
My name is Ralph, I have a very wide ranging selection of interests and skills all of which I throw my 100% into. From costume design to scientific research for television; to being a certified TEFL teacher and a massage therapist.
Maths was my best subject through school, taking it to A-Level achieving an A*. I went on to study Biology at University applying much of the maths I had learned at school. I have a Masters degree in Film.

I am an experienced tutor specialising in Maths from KS2 to GCSE.
Having achieved an A* in A-Level Maths, I have a strong grasp of the subject and a passion for helping students develop their confidence and problem-solving skills. My approach is student-centered, adapting lessons to individual learning styles to ensure clarity, engagement, and academic success. Whether through interactive discussions, problem-solving techniques, or structured exam preparation, I aim to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
Alongside tutoring, I work in a school as an LSA in the Special Educational Needs department, supporting students with additional learning needs in both classroom settings and exams. This role has deepened my ability to tailor lessons for students with diverse learning styles, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, and dyscalculia. Additionally, I am a qualified TEFL teacher with experience teaching English internationally in China and Brazil.
I attended Dulwich College for most of his school career before moving to Bedales School for sixth form. My background gives me a strong understanding of the private school system, and I am committed to helping students achieve top results. Whether a student needs ongoing support throughout the year or focused preparation for exams, I strive to help them reach their full academic potential while building confidence in their abilities.
