I'm a qualified English teacher with QTS, PGCE and an MA in Creative Writing.

I am a qualified English teacher (QTS+ PGCE in Secondary English) with experience in teaching Language and Literature for both AQA and Edexcel exam specifications.
My hour long lessons are aimed at GCSE students (Year 10/11) but I am flexible and can tutor for KS3 if required. I have a postgraduate degree in Creative Writing and have supported small groups with reading comprehension and literacy in the past.
Our first session will involve me finding out more about you as a student: topics or areas you are already confident in and those you wish for more support with. Your subsequent lessons will then be tailored specifcally for you - want to focus solely on Language Paper 2, Question 3 for several sessions? Absolutely fine! Feel like you want to go over key quotes and events from Macbeth before talking through a practice question? Not a problem.
Whether you want to boost your confidence, improve your grades or just get some extra practice in before the exam - I'm here to help!
