About James
An experienced guitarist with over 12 years of experience, across a diverse range of genres. I have played in multiple contexts including numerous rock bands, big bands, classical ensembles, and as an accompanist. Additionally, I've had experience as a music captain of a prestigious local school, and have enjoyed the opportunity to exercise my leadership skills in coordinating (and regularly performing) music for school formals, assemblies, chapel services, and many performance evenings often garnering crowds of several hundreds. Throughout this time, I've been fortunate to have my own guitar lessons, a clearly indispensable resource on my own learning journey, and I now hope to pass on the same inspiration, knowledge and passion to you.
