About Mattia
Hi, I'm Mattia Paradiso and I was born in Italy in a beautiful region called Puglia. I lived there for 19 years where I got my high school degree in Arts, then I moved to Rome to study acting. I lived and worked in Rome for 6 years where I studied Italian diction (the proper way to speak Italian without any slang) as I needed it for acting. Two years ago I decided to act in English so I moved to Manchester. I've been teaching Italian for a year now and I'm loving it. I'm an easy-going, patient, sociable, fun and open-minded person. I taught acting to teenagers (11-18) for 4 years in Italy and I'd like to continue sharing my culture with people who are interested in it. I could also give you the right advice for a beautiful holiday in Italy :)

Mattia is an excellent tutor. He is friendly, patient and has a great sense of humour. Most of all, he is a very skilled tutor with a true talent for teaching and explaining difficult or challenging concepts.
Mattia has been teaching me Italian regularly over the past 3 months. He meets me at my home twice a week for an hour long lesson each time.
Mattia is an excellent teacher and lessons are always well-preserved and structured. We start lessons having an informal discussion then progress into grammar and vocabulary. Lessons are always fun and Mattia is always able to answer my questions demonstrating his understanding of both the English and Italian languages.
