About Billy
I have been teaching Mathematics at highschool and A-level for 5 years, developing methods and strategies to improve students understanding of mathematics and increase confidence in the subject.
I have worked with students of a variety in ability, from developing basic numeracy to working at the highest levels of GCSE and A-Level (including further maths).
Through 1 on 1 tutoring I have been able to improve students confidence in mathematics, along side allowing them to improve their attainment.
By solidifying the foundations of specific topics, exposing pupils to non-standard exam questions, and developing an ‘exam strategy’ pupils can approach their exams with far more confidence.

Lessons are available to GCSE, AS and A-Level students in all topics of Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Lessons are available to students of all levels of ability, from new to advanced students, foundation or higher.
Topics can be discussed prior to the lesson to ensure a focused and efficient lesson for the student.
During a lesson will assess a students current knowledge of a topic before either developing the foundations or diving into non-standard questions that often trip pupils up in exams.
Lesson will always have some focus on specific exam questions to ensure students understand how maximise marks gained.
Alternatively, lessons can focus on ‘exam strategy’ to improve confidence and have a clear action plan for upcoming exams.
