Enthusiastic piano teacher with performance and education degrees giving lessons in Amsterdam

I have been taking piano lessons with Ischico for the last nine months. I used to play as a child but had not played for many years and was a little nervous at starting again! Ischico immediately put me at ease. She has a lovely teaching manner. She is extremely calm and patient and is able to give clear and simple explanations and provide solutions to any difficulties that i encounter.I decided to sit my Grade 2 exam but when i started to sight read again I became extremely frustrated. Ischico has encouraged me throughout, listened to my frustrations and been able to help me grow in confidence to the point that i actually now look forward to practicing my sight reading. Being an accomplished pianist herself, she has helped me to express myself when i am playing as opposed to just being able to play my pieces technically. I look forward to developing as a performer and working through my grades under Ischico’s guidance.

Having known Ischico for a year, I would definitely recommend her as a piano teacher. Ischico is a very talent full pianist herself with great communication skills. She can motivate people to play the most fantastic piano music.
