About Roisin
I'm a teacher and youth worker, passionate about helping learners overcome obstacles to achieve their goals. I've taught in schools, colleges, training organisations and offer personal tuition from KS3 to degree level.

My preferred method is scaffolding based on Vygotsky's theory of the Zone of Proximal Development. By establishing the learners own knowl5and understanding, my lessons are built upon that, and we continue building. I incorporate this from a pastoral point of view also. Only when a learner feels safe and comfortable can they learn, so I ensure a safe and welcoming learning environment.
