About Nicholas
I am a South African qualified Physiotherapist (University of the Western Cape) with a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) form the University of Cumbria and a Diploma in Educational Psychology from the Alison School. I worked as a Physiotherapist for 4 years and have been teaching now for 2 years. I have experience teaching English as a foreign language, Debating, Science and Movment science to students aged 4-18 years old. Additionally, I have experience teaching adult learners about General Health & Wellbeing, Information
technology, Presentation skills, Management skills and writing CVs & cover letters. Lastly, my time as a Physiotherapist equipped me with a wealth of knowledge on the human body and the health industry.

I am a enthusiastic teacher who likes to keep his lessons fun and dynamic. I like to use a student centred approach, as I believe all learners are different and subsequently require different styles of teaching to reach their full potential. I enjoy using the scaffolding technique when teaching as this allows students to use their previously acquired skills to help them unlock their potential and gain new knowledge. I have experience teaching students aged 4-18 years old, as well as adult learners. I am proficient in English, have managerial experience and a wealth of knowledge about the health industry and the human body which I acquired during my time as a physiotherapist. I am comfortable teaching students who are new to a subject or who are wanting to excel and push themselves to the top.
