About Alexander
Hello, my name is Alex. I am a Biology and Chemistry tutor. I am currectly studying Medicine at Queen's University Belfast.
I achieved 9's in Biology and Chemistry at GCSE and I went on to obtain 7's (equivalent to A*) in Biology and Chemistry in the International Baccalaureate (IB) at sixth form. Overall, I achieved 43/45 points in the IB which is equivalent to A*A*A* at A level.
I find tutoring is enjoyable as I am able to see student's gradually become more confident and achieve the grades they deserve.

My tutoring style prioritises engagement with the student so they can take on an active role in lessons. For example, this may be done through answering practise questions, testing the student's understanding of a topic, or creating revision resources together. This is then supplemented with my own explanations and teachings to develop their skills and knowledge.
