About Tunmise
Hello! My name is Tunmise, and I am a PhD candidate in Chemical and Earth Sciences, specializing in environmental monitoring, food chain exposure, and the impacts of contaminants on aquatic ecosystems.
I combine my knowledge in analytical chemistry, environmental toxicology, and food safety assessment, with a teaching style that is both relaxed and engaging. My unique approach blends rigorous scientific knowledge with story-driven explanations, making even the most complex chemistry concepts accessible and fun.
Over the years, I have developed an interest in helping students not only succeed academically but also connect science to real-world issues, from understanding pollutants in ecosystems to appreciating the chemistry behind everyday life, and I tailor lessons to suit each student’s level, whether you are: A high school learner, a university student tackling advanced chemistry modules, or someone looking to expand on knowledge of how chemistry shapes our environment and food systems. My goal is to ensure that every learner leaves with both knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject.

I combine my analytical chemistry expertise with a story-driven teaching style that makes complex science feel approachable and even fun. My lessons will be more than memorising formulas; we will connect chemistry to the real world and everyday life. I use everyday analogies, visual diagrams, and interactive problem-solving to ensure students truly understand concepts rather than repeat them.
I teach in English, and you can expect a typical lesson with me to be relaxed and engaging, structured but flexible and interactive. My lessons are for; High school learners needing help with chemistry basics and exam preparation, University students tackling analytical chemistry, environmental toxicology, or food safety modules as well as curious learners who want to understand how chemistry shapes ecosystems, food chains, and everyday life.
