About Bethany
I have been a reading tutor for two years working with students ages 4 through 12. I am a nanny for a 6 and 8 year old who I have tutored in all school subjects. I have watched students go from frustrated and not wanting to read to being excited to show me the new words they know. I have worked with children for 10 years, and believe every child is brilliant, they just need help showing the world.

Depending on the age of my student, I believe it is important for us to discuss our goals and expectations of each other. It is important for students to set goals, and hold adults responsible for helping them grow. I structure each lesson in a similar way to establish a routine with my student. Consistency is key when trying to learn new subjects.

Details
Cancelation needs to occur at least 24 hours before the lesson's intended start time. Failure to cancel or reach out to me before then will result in a $10 fee. If traveling 30+ miles to the home I do request and additional $4 to amount for the gas.
