About Garrett
I have a Bachelor's of Environmental Practice from James Cook University (in Queensland, Australia). My professional experience includes being a field ecologist for the Bureau of Land Management and as an environmental educator for middle schoolers. I also worked for a state government in an environmental policy role, so I can bring a policy perspective to our lessons too!

Hi! My name is Garrett. I love teaching people about the environment! My services are best suited to college students but I'm happy to help anyone master environmental topics. Specific services I offer include: - Marking assignments. - General assignment help, like brainstorming essay topics, helping you find literature, etc. - Creating summary notes. - Creating study aids (flashcards, slideshows, quizzes, etc...) - Talking through content to assist with tricky ideas. - Open to helping you in other ways - just ask! Topics of expertise: - Hydrology (taking hydrological measurements, flood frequency predictions, basic groundwater topics, urban hydrology). - Water quality (especially water quality data analysis and interpretation). - Soil science (soil composition, soil minerals, soil hydrology, field tests, classifying soils, erosion, and more). - Introductory geology (basic rock ID, basic geological processes) - Geomorphology (I can go pretty in depth on landscape formation, erosion, river evolution, and more). - Introductory economics (First/Second year economics and environmental economics topics). - Basic GIS (I can help you get to know the basics of ArcGIS).
