About Silky
Hi, I'm Silky — a certified yoga teacher and movement therapist passionate about healing through intentional motion and breath. I completed my 500-hour Teacher Training Course from Rudra Yogpeeth in Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world. My journey with yoga is deeply personal — it began as a way to reconnect with myself and has since grown into a calling to help others do the same.
For the past 5 years, I’ve been practicing creative movement and dance therapy, exploring how free, expressive movement can unlock emotional healing and inner strength. I bring this experience into my yoga teaching, blending traditional practices like Hatha and Vinyasa yoga with fluid, intuitive movement that helps students release tension, build awareness, and move with authenticity.
My sessions are grounded, nurturing, and open to all levels — designed to help you tune into your body, expand your breath, and find stillness in motion.

Perfect! Been taking classes with Silky mainly because of chronic lower back pain from sitting at a desk all day. She really understands how to work with pain issues and focuses on gentle movements that actually target the problem areas.
Already feeling less morning stiffness and the sharp pain when getting up from my chair has reduced a lot. She's taught me simple stretches I can do during work breaks which has been super helpful.
Her approach is so personalized - she adapts everything based on how I'm feeling that day. Really glad I found someone who gets it!Perfect! Been taking classes with Silky for 3 weeks now and honestly the biggest change I've noticed is with my breathing. I didn't even realize how shallow I was breathing before!
She starts every session focusing on breath awareness and it's amazing how much calmer I feel just from that. The way she explains different pranayama techniques is really clear - not overwhelming at all. I've started using the breathing exercises she taught me during stressful moments at work and it actually helps.
What I appreciate is she doesn't rush into complicated poses. We spend good time on breath work and it's made such a difference to how I feel during and after class. My sleep has improved too, probably because I'm finally learning how to actually relax.
