About Lynda
I have taught and tutored ESL to over 30 students. Some of them need English for their work, especially leadership positions; some of them are looking for work; and some of them want to get to a level where they can take courses for credit. Others want to improve their English for everyday communications and to keep up with their children's schoolwork. I have my Masters in English and I speak German so I know some good ways and have great materials to learn a new language.

I am a teacher/tutor with 24+ years of teaching, 7 of which is ESL for ages middle school through graduate level on up to the workplace. My approach is to start where the student feels most comfortable and progress together to the next step. The material I like moves from simple knowledge and exercises and builds to more advanced language. There is no rush to this process; I let the student tell me how fast we can go. I always look for enjoyment in each lesson. Learning requires a low stress level, even fun.
