About Pyi Phyo
I'm a 16-year-old student from Myanmar with a clear focus on turning my passion for English into a profession. I'm currently studying (FCE), which means I have an Intermediate level, and I've gained valuable hands-on experience as a substitute teacher at a local English center. These skills are complemented by my certifications from Alison's in Assistant Teaching and ESL teaching. I am now actively seeking online opportunities to build my own financial independence and contribute my expertise in tutoring, writing, and more.

My teaching method and techniques: I use a student-centered approach, focusing on interactive activities, games, and real-life examples to make English fun and practical. For younger learners, I use songs, flashcards, and storytelling. For older students, I guide them with exam strategies, grammar practice, and speaking confidence. A typical lesson plan: Quick warm-up (5 minutes) Review of the last lesson (10 minutes) New topic (vocabulary/grammar) with examples (15 minutes) Practice through speaking, listening, or fun exercises (20 minutes) Short review and homework/extra tips (10 minutes) What sets me apart as a tutor: I am young, energetic, and patient, so students feel comfortable and motivated. I have real classroom experience teaching Cambridge levels. I create customized worksheets and fun activities for each student. I can explain English in simple ways that are easy for learners to understand.
