About Maria Melina
After completing my BA in Combined Studies, I did an intensive course in teaching English as a foreign language. I then traveled and taught in Greece, Spain, and Poland. When I returned to England, I worked at FE colleges while doing a Level 5 Diploma in teaching adults with an ESOL specialism. The past few years I have been tutoring privately both online and at students' place of work or home.

I have been teaching English as a foreign language for over 20 years. I have an easy-going teaching style and work with the students' needs. My lessons are generally 1 hour unless the student prefers a longer session. The majority of my experience is with adults and I have experience with all levels. The student can choose whether they want to focus on all the skills or they can choose a particular area, such as conversation or grammar.
