About Raquel
I’m a confident and experienced Spanish teacher with a strong academic background and over 8 years of private tutoring experience. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting (Spanish, English, and French), a Master’s in Secondary Education, and additional training in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I’ve worked internationally—as a language assistant in New York and through Erasmus in France—and taught students of all ages and levels, both online and in person. ¡Hola! I'm a 25-year-old Spanish teacher with a degree in Translation and Interpreting and a Master’s in Secondary Education. Currently working as a Spanish Teaching Assistant in New York City, I bring both academic expertise and hands-on experience to every class. I’ve been a private tutor in Spain for 8 years, working with students of all ages both in person and online. My approach is dynamic, engaging, and adapted to each learner, often integrating project-based learning methods gained from my experience in innovative schools. During my studies, I also took part in an Erasmus program in France, which helped shape my international perspective on education.
