About Eva

I have over twenty years of experience working with students in the UK and internationally. I have been organising one-to-one and group lesson plans for a wide variety of students, including journalists, artists, editors, graphic, interior and fashion designers, business owners, and marketing professionals.

I have prepared workshops on Creative software, design, photography and drawing practices as part of art gallery programmes (Barbican Centre, Tate Britain, Tate Modern), Arts Festivals (London Spanish Book and Zine Fair, Learning, Transformation Technique, AntiUniversity Now). I have tailored fun courses to schools, libraries and community centres and training sessions for employees in private businesses. I do have an up-to-date DBS available on request. I work professionally as a Graphic designer. I specialise in creative book cover design, typesetting, print production, digital publishing, graphic artwork, photography and illustration.

I work with commercial, not-for-profit and arts organisations. You can see my work here: (concealed information)

I teach Creative Digital software like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Gimp, Scribus, Inkscape to professionals, students and people who want to improve their work, portfolio or enjoy their hobby and basic tasks in their everyday life.

I normally start my lessons by introducing ideas connected to the topic we study. After that, I offer my students exercises so they can practise how to use tools, layers, colour palettes, image adjustments, etc. I can also prepare exercises based on their ideas or requirements. At the end of the lesson, we always have time to reflect on the artwork created and the learning. I believe education works best when it is fun. Therefore, I make my lessons entertaining by providing additional activities and resources.

  • Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

My first experience with a computer was during my studies in Art History, where I had to type essays. Growing up, I loved the freedom and creativity that came with pen and paper. But in my mid-20s, while pursuing a full-time degree in Photography and Multimedia, I discovered the joy of working with pixels and digital tools. I truly believe in striking a balance between traditional handmade techniques and modern creative software.
  • What technological evolution has impacted you the most, and what do you see as the next turning point in this field?

I embrace all technologies, both new and old, in my teaching. My goal is to help students express themselves and expand their creativity. Every individual or group thrives differently, and the key is finding the right mix of technologies that sparks their unique potential. Looking ahead, I believe AI in graphic design should be used ethically for the benefit and joy of communities across borders.
  • Can you explain your expertise, your interest in it, and its broader importance in the computer world?

I’m a Graphic Designer specialising in visual communication, branding, both digital and print media. My passion lies in using design to tell striking stories and make information accessible and joyful. I want my students to develop a solid understanding of what graphic design truly means and to cultivate a critical mindset. This way, they can use their knowledge and tools creatively and effectively to solve any design challenge that comes their way.
  • Do visionaries like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, or Mark Zuckerberg inspire you, or do you have other role models?

My greatest inspiration comes from Black and Brown, Queer, Womxn, and Migrant Graphic Designers, artists, writers, all sorts of makers. These voices envision a more inclusive and gorgeous design world—and that deeply motivates me.
  • Can you share a valuable anecdote from your subject or your days at school?

I’m incredibly grateful to the teachers who celebrated my drawings and comic artworks, gave me visibility and prizes, and made me feel part of an international creative community. Their encouragement showed me that everyone deserves a platform and a voice, which continues to inspire how I teach today.
  • What would you say to someone uncomfortable in front of a screen who finds IT or design software too complicated?

I’d tell them it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed at first—learning new tools takes time and patience. I support my students with tailored exercises designed to meet their needs and pace. And if software remains a challenge, we can explore alternative approaches to develop the same creative concept. Luckily, art and design can be imagined from countless angles!
  • What are your other passions, related or unrelated to computers?

I enjoy cycling, playing chess, and reading books. These activities nourish me by providing balance—time outdoors and away from screens to recharge creatively and mentally.
  • What makes you a Superprof in Graphic Design?

I love crafting lessons for all levels, from beginners to advanced students. Teaching is my passion, and I cherish meeting students from diverse backgrounds, ages, genders, nationalities, and abilities. Helping each student find their own pace and unlock their genuine, powerful, and beautiful creative voice is what truly drives me as a Superprof.
