About Cale
Hello! My name is Cale and I am an 18 year old tutor from Edinburgh in Scotland.
I am currently studying for my final Secondary School exams in physics, maths, mechanics, and French. However just because I am young, doesn't mean I am inexperienced. I have been tutoring since I was 14 years old and have picked up many different styles of teaching.
I have been accepted into university to study Theoretical Physics, and I am delighted to be able to study my passion. If learning about physics is something that interests you then I would be happy to share everything I know.
I love talking about maths and physics and my key goal is to inspire love for a subject. Helping young people and woman get into studying STEM is a life long goal.

I don't believe there is one singular method of teaching. Everyone has their own unique learning style and I always prioritise finding what that is so I can make learning as fun and memorable as possible.
In the past I have worked with primary school pupils in small groups and created personalised plans to accommodate their learning needs. If concentrating for long periods of time is not your style, we can easily split the lesson up into small engaging tasks, building up to a main focus.
I have also taught at various levels of high school pupils, whether it be first years needing a little extra help with the step up to secondary school, or coaching pupils through their Nat 5 or Higher exams, I am happy to aid any level.
Some pupils feel more comfortable with lessons where they can actively draw out their thoughts, others prefer a lecture style or to work through past papers, it's entirely up to them to decide what they feel they need. Of course, if they don't know, we can try many different methods to find the perfect one.
I primarily teach maths and physics, however I also have experience teaching grammar, phonics, and literacy. My lessons are suitable for any children aged 6-16 who are able to use a computer or have an adult who can assist. Lessons can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
