Hi, I’m Evie, a passionate, dedicated tutor, currently tutoring students from Year 4 to Year 12. I have always loved learning, especially in subjects like mathematics, science, and the arts, and I’m excited to help students not just succeed, but truly enjoy what they’re studying. My plan for you/your child looks like:
1. Personalised Learning Plan
At the first session, I assess each student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. Together, we create a customised plan focused on their goals — whether it's mastering tricky topics, boosting exam scores, or building study confidence.
2. Clear, Step-by-Step Explanations
I break down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps, using real-world examples and visual aids where needed. Students are encouraged to explain ideas back to me — because true understanding comes from being able to teach it yourself!
3. Guided Practice and Independent Problem-Solving
Each session includes worked examples we tackle together, followed by independent practice. I guide students carefully, always encouraging critical thinking and independent problem-solving.
