About Alicia
I've taken grade 11 and 12 chemistry (I still have my notes) as well as two university chemistry classes. As I moved through university, I noticed that chemistry appears in many different courses I would not have expected. For example, I've needed to use my chemistry concepts in statistics, 2 physiology courses, 3 pharmacology courses, courses that focus on biological science, and more! The base knowledge I acquired in chemistry courses has allowed me to use and build on chemistry concepts. I've had to carry out experiments on the topics of equilibrium, acid-base reactions and buffers, chemical content and concept of the mole, and thermodynamics. Completing these hands-on labs has given me a deep understanding of these concepts.
