About Talia
My interest in Excel and digital organisation developed while working with reporting systems and spreadsheet-based projects during my studies. This passion encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications followed by a Master’s Degree in Information Technology. During the past 7 years, I have guided students and professionals in improving spreadsheet skills through practical and supportive teaching methods.
I believe technical learning should feel approachable and useful instead of stressful or complicated. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step explanation, hands-on exercises, and practical examples that help learners understand how spreadsheet tools work in real situations. I encourage students to practice actively and ask questions openly because confidence develops naturally through experience and interaction.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring data visualisation tools, productivity software, and digital workflow systems. Staying updated with technology helps me keep lessons relevant and practical for modern learners. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I enjoy helping students gain skills that improve both confidence and efficiency. My goal is always to support learners in becoming organised, capable, and independent while working with spreadsheets and data systems.

My Excel lessons focus on helping students build practical spreadsheet skills through simple instruction, guided exercises, and real-world applications. I teach formulae, charts, pivot tables, formatting, data organisation, and reporting tools in a structured way that makes technical tasks easier to understand. Students learn how to manage information efficiently while improving confidence through hands-on activities and regular practice. Every lesson encourages participation and active learning.
Lessons are adjusted according to the learner’s experience level and professional or academic goals. Beginners focus on spreadsheet basics, formulae, and data entry, while advanced students work on dashboards, automation, advanced functions, and analytical tools. I include practical assignments regularly because application-based learning strengthens understanding more effectively than theory alone. Students are encouraged to explore different methods and improve accuracy through repetition and guided support.
I aim to create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable using Excel for practical tasks independently. Many learners initially find spreadsheets confusing, so I focus on simplifying processes into smaller manageable steps. Over time, students improve organisation, efficiency, and confidence while handling data and reports. Excel becomes much more valuable when learners understand how useful spreadsheet skills are in education, business, and everyday work situations.
