About Dane
I completed a PhD in Information Systems and Business Intelligence after years of advanced study in data management, reporting technologies, and digital workflows during my academic training. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with students and professionals from different industries and educational backgrounds, helping them improve through personalized instruction and practical learning methods. Teaching Excel allows me to combine technology, organization, and problem solving in a deeply rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners simplify complicated spreadsheet tasks and improve workplace performance.
My teaching approach focuses on adaptability, patience, and hands-on learning. Some students improve best through repetitive exercises and workflow repetition, while others respond more naturally to business projects and real-world applications. I carefully adjust lessons according to each learner’s confidence level, pace, and technical needs. Along with spreadsheet skills, I help students strengthen organization, analytical thinking, and confidence using digital systems. Building a welcoming and motivating learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring automation tools, studying business technologies, and learning advanced reporting methods that help keep lessons practical and engaging. Technology continues to inspire efficiency and innovation in my work. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing students become more confident solving professional challenges independently.

My Excel lessons are created to help students strengthen spreadsheet knowledge while building confidence through practical and structured learning activities. I teach formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, dashboard creation, conditional formatting, data visualization, spreadsheet automation, and reporting systems using explanations that feel clear and approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include workflow exercises, business-based projects, productivity techniques, reporting tasks, and real-world spreadsheet applications that help students improve steadily through active practice. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting with tools and solving technical tasks independently. Every lesson supports both technical understanding and workplace efficiency together.
Beginners focus on worksheet organization, formatting tools, simple calculations, and spreadsheet basics through guided instruction and structured exercises that build confidence gradually. Intermediate learners improve chart design, formula accuracy, data organization, and reporting methods through project-based activities and practical assignments. Advanced students strengthen automation techniques, advanced spreadsheet functions, dashboard systems, and professional reporting workflows through detailed exercises and complex business scenarios. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, confidence, and professional goals so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning Excel should feel practical, productive, and professionally rewarding. I encourage students to understand how spreadsheet systems function instead of relying only on memorization techniques. Many learners become more efficient and organized as their technical abilities develop naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both digital confidence and professional productivity through practical Excel skills.
