About Eleanor
My professional journey with Excel began during academic projects and industry-based reporting tasks where clear data presentation was essential. This experience encouraged me to pursue a B.Sc in Information Systems followed by an M.Sc in Data Science, allowing me to deepen both technical and analytical expertise. Over the past 12 years, I have supported learners from varied backgrounds in developing strong, reliable Excel skills that grow with their goals.
I believe Excel instruction should be clear, supportive, and confidence-building. Many learners feel intimidated by formulas and large datasets, so I focus on reducing complexity through logical breakdowns and practical explanation. I emphasize understanding why a function works, not just how to apply it, which builds long-term independence.
Beyond teaching, I remain actively engaged with data analysis tools, reporting frameworks, and evolving spreadsheet technologies. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I see learners transform uncertainty into confidence and efficiency, gaining a skill that empowers them across careers and studies.
