About Janhavi
My experience with Excel began during my Master’s Degree in Data Management, where I learned how important it is to organize and analyze information effectively. I was interested in how Excel can simplify complex data and make it easier to understand. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with many students and helped them develop confidence in using Excel through clear and structured teaching methods.
I believe that Excel should be easy to learn when it is taught in a simple and practical way. My teaching style focuses on step-by-step explanations and real-life examples so students can understand how to use Excel in different situations. I also take time to understand each student’s learning level and adjust my lessons so they can learn comfortably without feeling rushed or confused.
Outside of teaching, I continue exploring new Excel tools and techniques to stay updated. This helps me bring fresh ideas into my lessons and keep them relevant. Teaching Excel is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students develop useful skills that they can apply in many areas of life.

Excel becomes a very useful tool when students learn how to manage and understand data in a clear and structured way. In my lessons, I focus on making Excel simple and practical so learners can build confidence step by step. We begin with basic topics such as entering data, formatting cells, and using simple formulas. I explain each feature carefully using clear examples so students understand how everything works. This helps them feel comfortable and reduces any confusion in the early stages of learning.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced tools such as functions, data sorting, filtering, and charts. I also teach pivot tables and basic data analysis techniques that are useful in both academic and real-life situations. Each lesson includes practice exercises where students apply what they learn. I guide them through mistakes and help them understand how to correct errors. This steady and structured approach helps students improve their skills with confidence.
Excel lessons also help students develop organization, accuracy, and logical thinking. They learn how to present data clearly and make better decisions using information. Over time, they become more confident in using Excel independently. My goal is to help learners build strong and practical Excel skills that support both their studies and future work.
