About Emma
My interest in Excel began when I started working with data and saw how useful spreadsheets are for organizing information. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s in Data Science, where I developed strong analytical and technical skills. Over the past 4 years, I have taught students how to use Excel effectively and confidently.
My teaching approach focuses on simplicity, patience, and practical learning. I break down complex tasks into small steps so students can understand easily. I use real-life examples and hands-on exercises to make lessons engaging and useful. I also encourage students to practice regularly and explore features independently.
Outside teaching, I continue to learn new Excel tools and techniques. This helps me keep my lessons updated and relevant. Teaching Excel is rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and ability. My goal is to help every learner feel comfortable and skilled in using spreadsheets.

My Excel lessons are designed to make working with data simple, clear, and practical. I begin with basic skills such as entering data, formatting cells, and using simple formulas. Each concept is explained step by step so students can follow easily. I use real-life examples like budgeting, tracking data, and organizing information to make lessons meaningful. This helps students understand how Excel can be applied in everyday situations.
I create a relaxed and supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions. As students improve, I introduce more advanced features such as pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, and lookup functions. I guide them through structured exercises that help them analyze and manage data effectively. Practice tasks are included in every lesson to improve accuracy and confidence.
I also explain mistakes clearly so students can learn and improve without frustration. Each lesson builds practical skills step by step. Excel helps students become more organized and confident when handling data. Many learners begin to enjoy spreadsheets as they see real results. My goal is to help students build strong Excel skills that they can use in studies, work, and daily life.
